Not to burst anyones bubble but the 70 Charger used in the movie action shots has a fake blower and GM engine.

Ah man, that really stinks. I guess that Charger will go into the Hot Rod/ Car Craft Hall of Fame instead of any Mopar Magazine. I can see why but it sucks none the less. I would rather hear it had a slant 6.

As far as bad acting, all "good" classic B movies had bad acting but enjoyed a long run for the action and cheesy lines. Heck the movies Bullit, Dirty Mary Crazy Larry and Vanishing Point were about the wild car chases not the spectacular acting jobs. I've got all three on video and will add this one too.

The one good thing to come from this is that I don't feel bad about them trashing those Chargers since they aren't real Mopars any more. Just some Ford rears, Chevy motors/trans and some fiberglass. Even the suspension wasn't Mopar. But now if you ask me, "Would I drive it?" - Hmmm.....HELL YEAH!! Does that make me a car ****?

I know the close-ups in the first movie used a real blown Hemi, but the rest were fake. It was obvious when he crashed it in the last race over the tracks.
They could have at lease used a 5.7L Hemi in the stunt cars!!!

Movie was pretty good, I'm a huge fan of the series but... It needed more racing. I expect to see a lot of racing in fast n furious movies and this 1 lacked. Even when there could of been racing scenes, they were skipped over for some reason.
