For those who have not heard, Motor Trend recently did a comparo between the Corvette ZR1 and the 2013 SRT Viper GTS. The Viper lost the track test but Ralph Gilles took to Twitter to stand up for the Mopar supercar.

Bout time dodge called them out!!!

 

I think their numbers are *******ly the same with everything except for this track time that the older viper owned until this comparison. Seems a little fishy, IMO.

Good question. GM spends more advertising money is why they won. Happens all of the time.

That's why the Camry (the worlds most recalled vehicle in recent history) is always a top pick. Money, money , money.

The ACR is a hardcore version of the Viper. Think of the Viper and the Viper GTS as the base models (in terms of performance), the track ack being a small step up and the ACR as a massively decontented, lightweight track car with lots of aero-assist. In other words, there will be a new ACR version of the Viper.
