I did not mean to double post..I teach inner-city high school so forgive me if I come across a little abrasive (its unintentional).
Does anybody have any vibes on 06 employee pricing? Why does Truck Trend and some other publications keep mentioning the 6.1 in H.D.s if its not happening...just asking...don't throw bombs!

I would really like to see the 6.1L in the Ram. SRT-8 would be cool. Rumor I heard was that cost would be too close to the SRT-10. Seems kinda senseless, I guess, to pay near $50K for a 425hp V8 when you could get a 505hp V10. But it ain't a HEMI. LOL. I don't know. That's what I heard.

I wish you dudes would read my first thread on this topic...I am not talking about putting the 425 horse 6.1 in a 1500...I'm talking about the 2500/3500 series trucks with say a 385 horse or something similar...a 6.1 (that has been toned down a little). Something with a little more power than the 5.7 but not wanting the diesel. NEVER WAS IT MENTIONED AS A SRT!!!!

SRT8 ram= Bad Idea
RAM has an SRT 10
however the 6.1 would be a good Idea if they mass produce it like the Hemi...
I don't like this SRT Idea..
SRT should be dodge not chrysler and Jeep

SRT-4 = Neon/Caliber Model
SRT-6 = Stratus Model
SRT-8 = Charger/Challenger
SRT-10 = Ram/Viper
