Default BAD LUCK...

Yesterdey I saw tests results between the new Corvetter zo6, Dodge Viper, Porsche 911, and Ford GT. The Corvette makes 0-60 in 3.6, while the Ford Gt in 3.7 and the Dodge Viper in 4 secs!!!!! the Porsche makes like 4.2 secs.

I saw it in th C & D Magazine

the Dodge Viper in 4 secs!!!!!
3.9 Seconds and that is with the SRT-10 Convertible. With the new Coupe and less wind resistance it should get a second or so shaved off. Almost what the GT is.

Also, the Viper beats the vette & GT in braking and road holding.

Also, add in the factor that Car & Driver is one of the most biased magzines there is. It's been proven in many cases.

No doubt in my mind says that the stupidly light, strained V8 in the Corvette will take the Viper. But there is no way the coupe goes 0-60 in 4.0 secs. The convertible did it in 3.9. I'd say the coupe does it in a low 3.8, while also taking the GT in almost every other aspect, for half the price.

yeah, i was talkin about the convertible Viper, but still, the Corvette is cheaper in price. but the new Vette, has a horrible design (my opinion)

Nah, your dreaming there. Maybe a HIGH 3.7, but the Corvette is way much lighter and more aerodynamic. The Corvette will take the Viper in a 0-60 match.

If I'm not mistaken, the Vette has a top speed of 198Mph. Dunno if that is governed. The Viper SRT-10 Convertible and Coupe both have an electronically governed speed limit of 199Mph.
