I agree it baffles the mind, since warren truck is down again for 2 weeks due to slow sales. Also we are not building dakotas till at least thanksgiving, possibly even Christmas. We are scheduled for two more down weeks in Nov. And current rumor is that after Christmas hoilday we will not return till april. So where these numbers are coming from is beyond me. If we are selling more than last year, shouldn't we be building more than last year? I was not laid off at all last year. This year its been almost 2 months I've been laid off. Hmmm......

RE: Chrysler Group Achieves 18th Consec. Month of Sales Gains on 4% Rise in Sales
additional gains were probly due to the "employee pricing" during the month of Sept, but were of vehicles that were already sitting on dealer lots so the factories wouldnt see an increase in production, especially since most are already down for the switch-over to the '06 model year.
Killing off the Neon was a mistake, the market is already flooded with mini suv look-a-likes, people can only take so many until they want something completely different.

I'm not arguing with statistics, my point is are they true. Since we are the only plant that builds dakotas, if sales are so good, why are we not building them at all. Something smells fishy in Auburn Hills too me!
