Haven't heard anything about it, but that sounds good. Maybe Dodge can gather some intel on how the South Korean's do things.

Hyundai has ugly cars, but them things run like crazy.... I've had 4 of them in the family....and those things short of transmission issues have driven quite well.

I think this is a good buy for Dodge, although I'd rather see them buy out Mitsu first...

i hope we do. i keep seeing Hyundai being referred to as the next Toyota. if we owned alot of them that would be good for us.

Well diamler owns a lotta mitsu and seeing as how we are building world motors for hyundai-kia and mitsubishi that kinda makes sense. If they do buy it out that would be great for long term. For some reason with GM getting all those different car brands they forgot to see what they were buying in to...also we would be getting into little of mazda that is if kia still uses their motors.......which I believe they still do...versions of the a6 and 323.

I kind of doubt it will happen (Hyundai being the next Toyota). Hyundai doesn't have the greatest reputation for quality or reliability (though I don't think Toyota is all that they are hyped to be). They have come a long way but they still have lots of room for improvement. Also their engines are not very fuel efficient for their size. That will count against them.
