I work for FCA (corporate) and with the new stellantis merger (feels like a hostile takeover honestly) Chrysler is pretty much done. Stellantis execs have no interest in Chrysler and want to take dodge full EV to be in line with their Dutch climate change ideals. If you like the FCA product now, get one. Our new execs view the hemi and V8s as inefficient and irrational. Dodge is going to be returning to the old days of failed models and vanilla boring vehicles.
The merger isn't new, it's old news. FCA just changed their name. Most other manufacturers here in the US don't even make sedans/coupes any more. It's all SUV's. And yes, everyone is going to all EV's. Also, Stellantis isn't dutch, its Italian. (and french....) They are headquarters are in the Netherlands though.....
