would you really want to pay double the normal toll prices, twice as much taxes, and a $1200 tire bill, because thats what three axles does for you

The T-REX was a 6X6 study from Chrylser Corp in 1995. Along w/ the T-REX Concept, a few 1995 Dakota 6X6 pliot model were created. Problems occured when Chrysler found out that increased tire wear, and linkage problems occured on Dakota pliot models. The project was not funded after a 6 month testing study. You will never see a production T-REX from Chrysler Group... sorry!

think about this then go to http://www.usa6x6.com

or go to http://www.usa6x6forum.comand look around

Danielis in the process of trying to cut the total cost of the conversions to under $7000.00 on your preowned truck, van, car what ever

Depending on what type of suspenision you use youcan get the conversion forunder $10,000if you have usa6x6 do all the work

now if you have any kind of fab skills you can cut that price alot

Daniel reports that with the conversion you get improved stats as follow

30% more braking Swept area
300% increase in left/right load stability
Also the suspension levels itself offroad far superior to a 4X4
100% increase in ride quality due to the load sharing suspension
ALso less stress and strain put on the axles for same load capacity
With an air bag suspension you also have vehicle leveling as well with any load, making for a safer/stable transport.
Also a 4X4 with the same weight capacity far exceeds the cost of a 6X6 conversion.
The Bogie suspension allows VERY minimal chassis flex/stress for maximum load stabilization
Tire wear is minimized with the "steering" rear suspension over a dually setup

Hell, why not run the rear axle as a tag setup until needed, if you have the fab skills. Save on dragging a tire around corners on the street.
