whats teh difference between light, medium and heavy duty

usualy that rateing is done by GCVWR and engine specs. the 1/2/3500's are actualy light duty trucks, but the Ram 2/3500's are actualy sporting a medium duty engine. the medium duty trucks generaly are your 4/5/6 series and the heavy being 7 series and larger.

however there are exceptions to the rule there. a 4 series truck can actualy be classified as a light duty because the engine doesnt have the *****, then a 6 series depending on engine can be classified as a heavy duty. but the overall limiting factor is the GCVWR

Hey MidnightBlue,

Please expand upon the 6 Speed auto option, I suspect there may be a typo there "Aisin". Is this not the much anticipated 68 RLE six speed?
