Intresting! I know Mitsubishi can put 3.8 V6 motors in the Galant producing 270 HP so if it is on the Galant platform i wonder what v6 motor Chryler will put in and how much power?
I wonder how many potential Camry buyers will consider buying or will buy the new Sebring? Any word if it is going to be left and right hand drive and be sold to Europe and Aisa Pacific?

If they make it seem more superior as Chrysler should be (since it was a luxury brand), it might work. They need to offer the new 2.4L as the base engine and it would be wise to offer the rumored 62TE transmission to beat the 5-speeds the Japanese manufactures offer and match what Ford is doing. They should at least offer the 3.5L V6 as an option. It would be wise increase the hp & tq so then they can offer more than the Altima. If they offer Dual-VVT on it like they did with the new I4s, they will get on the good side of the automotive press, which is what they need to do. CarandDriver liked the new I4's smoothness. I think it is pointless for them to offer the 2.7L, which has already been confirmed. All of the Japanese manufactures are producing more hp than that in their V6 versions. I wish they would get rid of that engine as well as the CVTs and 4-speed automatics. To get the attention needed they would be wise to offer a special model that would offer better fuel mileage to counter the hybrid Accord and Camry, perhaps a Diesel model.
