Check out these soon to be in production boats, by VOLOCITY Powerboats. They are using twin 8.3L (505ci) "VIPER" V-10s. More information on http://www.viperclub.org.

That's tight! Somebody told me about that but I thought they were mistaking the Viper engine for something else.

All I can say is wait till next year when VOLOCITY throws two of those bad boys in their 360SS powerboat. The marine VIPER motor is rated at 550 horsepower, thats 1,100 horsepower for twins! With a top-speed over 100+ mph.

Make way, GM's 8100 "VORTEC" BIG BLOCK V-8, there is a new marine master.
