Design doesnt always just mean exterior looks or interior looks....its about functionality, usefulness, looks....and in that regard...the Prius fits in this category....I dont know that I would have voted it top 10...but I wouldnt argue it that strongly....

As I've said before.... BMW's designs don't work well with SUV's... The cars are great, but not the SUV's... The X5 is not even a top 10 SUV...
