Concept Design SideWinder SRT-4 Motorcycle
Years ago, Dodge released a prototype truck apply named "Sidewinder", based on the v10 Viper engine in a truck format. Later they ran with the same engine idea for a bike, still four tires, but named a motorcycle none the less. Resurrecting the name, but completely changing the format. BrickWurX Mfg, entered into the future Michelin tire challenge held each year producing a totally new concept vehicle Dodge has only tried once before, the motorcycle! Unlike its larger brother, the "Tomahawk", the Sidewinder is a more practical version of true American horsepower and design. Loosely based on the newer angled lines of the 300M, Challenger, and Magnum, Sidewinder will be the first cycle of its kind. Power plant references to the 325 HP modified SRT-4 Motor, includes an automatic transmission, and dual single sided axles, front and rear. An all steel carriage should place the machine at close to 450LBS total Weight. In order to carry that load effectively, Sidewinder utilizes fully adjustable air controlled suspension. Meaning, the tighter the curve, the stiffer the absorption. That, and it eliminates the need for a kickstand, Sidewinder simply lowers to its belly when parked! Safety features include many standard options on most Dodge vehicles and in fact are directly transferred with minimal design alterations. Anti-lock Brakes, cruise control, computer assisted steering, balance, and fully integrated compensated fuel injection will be standard. While size will still be on a much larger scale compared to standard bikes, Sidewinder will definitely be more rider friendly than it's older brother. And based on total weight Vs. HP, just as fast, will look Better, and most important, street legal! If you like the idea, let us know! A fully functional and rideable rolling chassis will be completed within the month, Body design and concept to reality performance finished by the end of August!
