As I stated in a thread last week, we have been doing R&D on the new 5.7 HEMI head. We have ran across a head with larger intake and exhaust ports. The casting number is 05037369AA. We have heard stories of a 6.0 Hemi that maybe coming soon. Has anyone else?

 

Its not a 6.0L, but a 6.1L HEMI V-8, it will debut in the 2006 Dodge Charger RT and a HEMI "MAGNUM" version will debut for 2006 on Ram Heavy Duty models! At the Auburn Hills Headquarters, it is codenamed "440"... it is stated that it will either have 440 horsepower or 440 ft-lbs of torque, because it isn't a 440ci motor.

It will be interesting to see if MoPar Performance puts out the 6.1L engine in crate form like they are the 5.7L.[sm=smiley32.gif]

 

what is the exact hp/L ratio? if the 6.1 is a 375, wouldnt .040 over put you right around 383?

i believe .040 is around 8 ci?
