Nosir...I dont like it. I didnt like the look of the Commander, and I dont like this. Looks too much like a generic SUV. At least the original had its own style. For the Liberty, they shoulda done something more like the Toyota FJ--give it suicide rear doors, and keep the front end looking a little Wrangler-ish, but still its own thing. This version sucks.

 

Not bad, but I'd get a commander over this.

 

as of right now i would not get one to replace my current one. it is not a liberty if the spare tire isn't on the rear. that is really what is getting me down about it.

 

Hmmmm I kinda like it?! It looks a bit more meaty... not so soccer mom now. I do agree with having the tire on the back however... it should be a proper tire carrier mounted to the bumper like the warn bumpers for jeeps with oversized tires. The reason being... my friend works in a body shop and he has shown me what kind of damage is caused in a rear ender when the tire is simply mounted on the rear gate. The whole rear end gets punched in from the force of the wheel.
