A new brand is almost certain for 2006-2008 introduction, with Eagle being unlikely, Plymouth being possible. The goal: to allow Chrysler to be upmarket, Dodge to be sporty, without sacrificing mainstream; also to be able to do styling and technology experiments in a "safe haven" that doesn't risk disturbing the "main" brands.

read the article in autoweek about the new youth brand, it also mentioned the hyundai connection.
still think it will be a smart derived product. wasn't the slingshot a rebodied smart roadster??

Well, if this does occur, hopefully DC will be smart enough to make something that actually attracts good attention, not sneers like the Scion does. Those things (xA and xB) have to be the ugliest things in the world.

I'm with the comments of "Plymouth" not being a youth name. Razor is a scooter in many kids eyes, so that isnt going to work much either.
