Well, I've been following the avenger saga since seeing the first pics of the Avenger R/T so called "concept" car, and today someone snapped some pics of the standard production car. It looks as expected, which in my book is a good thing, its exactly how I wanted it to be. Im just waiting for one to arrive at the showrooms and then i'm going to buy one that very day. Mini charger!

Damn that's ugly...

 

it is very bland compared to the concept..no?

 

I really wonder why car makers uglify the lower end models like that, the red R/T concept we saw looks amazing while that what I would guess an SE model looks bland and kind of ugly, but aside from the wheels I would think it actualy costs more to have that second different uglier mold for the lower model when they could just use the good looking one for all the trim levels.

 

Yeah, maybe it's the tire/wheel combination...but the concept looked much more agressive. The front lip and sideskirts on the concept help too. Maybe they are being reserved for the RT models.

 

i thought that the RT model had projection headlights too...i really liked the RT that i saw a while back...i mean, im not going to buy one, but its not a bad looking car. how DARE they tarnish the original avengers good name!
