Come on guys, 700HP??? How are you supposed to put that on the ground? Even so, how many of us are going to own one? What Mamma Mopar realy needs is a cheap sports car that anyone can afford. How about something like a Miata but under 15K? Maybe I'm getting too old or something, but do we realy need enough horsepower to move North America? Short of drag racing and bragging rights, that kind of power is costly by the way of parts and speeding tickets. What I find the funnest is to take a small open car out on a twisty road some warm Sunday afternoon. I only need enough horsepower to get me through the curves with a little gusto. Anything more then my Neon is wasted. Gas is going past 2.50/gallon, and soon. The guy who owns a $100,000 Viper don't care, but I bet most of us do. A small zippy, open ,and cheap car would keep the Chrysler legend alive long after most of us are not.

Maybe a little bit, but I think the more obvious one is how much the new front looks like a Ferrari 360, I mean the headlights look near identical.

 

Re the upcoming Viper motor... yes, I'm still hearing Hemi V10. But I'm also hearing that it could be over 8 liters and well over 600 hp. PVO is not going to let any version of the Vette steal their thunder.

(BTW, guys, a seven-liter V8 Hemi would SURELY be called a 426, not a 427.)
