Please God almighty stop them before they blasphemy any other Mopars!!!!!!!(yes, I know the Avenger is essentially all Mitsubishi with a Dodge designed body, but it looked great even though it had little power) What next, a 4 door hatchback Stealth R/Twith only a 50 horsepower3 cylinder and one wheel drive?

while im not a big sedan guy (ironic seeing as how the "next car list" has 1 coupe and 2 sedans on it) i like the avenger. i think that it is sportier than the previous stratus sedans, and i obviously liked them...

I like it too...Of course they show the sporty version, because they know its gonna sell. Of course the other versions are going to be different than the R/T; that way there are other choices. Some people may not want the sporty version; they may want a more plain version, or a mid version. They have to have other options.

 

I like the avanger it a great inprovment on the Stratus and I don't understand all this hate because of car names. And on the gas milage, since this is an 08 model it is being tested with the new EPA guidlines that are suppost to reflect real world milage. From what I've read hybrids are lossinglike 20 -30% in milage with this new test.

I want the SRT as well and the the Sebring like you said seems like an old person car.

Almost all the Chrysler hoods and butt ugly. Only new one I've seen that isn't, is the T&C.

 

I don't know which way to go on this one- the interior looks like even NASA wouldn't install in the space shuttle. Why does every car producedhave to have the clean, over-sterilized,fake metal and chrome look? Don't make 'em like they used to. The chrome on the grille has to go, and another goddamn 4 door? Come on. I hope there is a coupe option somewhere in the works. Without that doofy looking half size rear door, the body probably wouln't be that bad. Let's just pray that there are no hatchback (a la Caliber) plans anytime in the near future...

Yes, but the Stratus had a coupe version that looked great and this is just another 4 door that replaces another 4 door and completely eliminates one of the only 2 door carsthey had left.[:@][:'(]

 

How do you know the coupe won't come? Because a sedan is introduced, a coupe is out?

The Stratus was introduced in 1995 and we didn't get the Stratus coupe until 2000. We did have the Avenger, but if I remember correctly, the Avenger wasn't introduced until a year after the Stratus sedan was. The next fall I believe...

Give it some time before we're all so sure that a coupe is not coming...

I mean, we have the Sebring convertible comign very soon, what's to say they won't make an Avenger coupe...
