That front grill is a work of art. If I had an '06 or '07 I'd try to swap out for one of those.

This is the 2007 With the 305/610 option. The 2007.5 will have the 350/650 option (As will the dodge ram HD trucks.) Currently the 2007 Mega cab and the 2500/3500have the 6.7 with the 305/610 option. Why they chose to wait to release the 350/650 optionuntil halfway through the year is beyond me. I do know that it has nothing to do with the tranny and it's ability to handle the power or torque. If your looking to buythe 6.7 option,Good advice is to wait a few months and get the 2007.5 HD Ram.

I think the issue is possibly thr demand for the new engine. If people respond well (as I suspect they will) to the 305/610, then it will make sense to release the 350/650. A man who does not want more power or torque is no man at all. So I don't see why DC waited until halfway through the year to release what men really want.

So how does Daimler Benz intend to sell a Ram if they sell Chrysler group?
The whole idea is ridiculous.

Daimler/Benz has more than enough profits and stability to turn around DC/Dodge, and profit. But due to the pressure of the German shareholders (idiots) they want to cut lose from the American auto-market. Seems silly to me, buy stock in a company, and begin a journey of great product out-put, then turn around while it's about to peak in quality/sales, then sell it.

I'm guessing that whoever buys it, will be the final deciding factor of it's demise. Lets just hope Asia keeps it's grubby hands out of the bids, and hopefully American share holders aren't stupid enough to sell to them.

I agree with moparforlife.....having dodge ram and sterling.....seems to me as stupid as having
chevy and gmc!! Why would you make 2 trucks almost similar.....but change out a grille...and/or a few other minor options.

On the other hand...I have a 2006 Ram...I might yank that grill...cut out the "sterling"....and put some chrome mesh behind it.
