Im looking for a challenger
I know the feeling, I've found several great deals across country where I cannot get them from without a butt load in shipping costs. I've also heard some real horror stories about some extremely high dollar cars such as Lamborghini's shipped by semi or overseas and arriving trashed or damaged.[:@]
I purchased a 1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye for $1750 in running condition. Numbers didn't match (factory 340 4bbl) when i purchased it, it had a 318. It needs a decent amount of body work, quarters, trunk extensions, passenger door and a winshield. The interior needs new seat covers and a dash pad, everything else is in very good condition. I am doing a motor, tranny, and diff swap. BUT I'ved waited 3 years to find an decent E-body i could afford, so just keep looking and you'll find something. But probably not a 70 for under $8k in just about any condition.
