Default Ooo... Barracuda!

Just threw a quickie pic of my ride in the main forum -- a '71 'Cuda (440RB, A727 auto, non-numbers matching) -- and figured I might as well start up a 'Cuda pic thread:

Any other distempered sea bass on the board? They swim in packs don'tcha know...?

Yeah, she's got a host of problems that'll probably take me a couple'a paychecks to catch up to -- but she's a good solid car nonetheless. I can honestly say that she's been the most reliable car I've ever owned -- always starts and runs, fricken' always...

Great Cuda you have there, I love the '71.[sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley17.gif] Here's a few pics of my dad's '74 Barracuda that has a built '68 426 Hemi in it with a built A-727B.

Yeah, I've seen your pop's ride around in a few other threads you've posted -- *very* nice. I see he's dumped the huge bumper blocks that the later 'Cudas adopted -- good move.

I've thought about getting a Hemi but unless I get a new HEMI, I'm probably going to stick with the Wedge (even if I get another mill). I just like 'em...

Yeah, the ugly black bumper rubber had to go, what an eye sore those are.[sm=smiley18.gif]He had to bug the previous owner for a year or two to come off of it and he got it for a song, built Hemi and all, but he has done a bit more to it after that.[sm=smiley20.gif]He also has a '65 Barracuda with the slant 6 in it, it's for sale though.

Woof, I'm the only 'Cuda on the board?

I'm getting the itch to go cruisin' -- I think I need to hit the auto parts store tomorrow... [8D]

The big question I keep dancing around is what color do I want to paint her, and do I want to keep the auto tranny and install a Gear Vendor's overdrive or get a 5-spd Keisler.

This week its paint her Viper Steel Gray and go with the 5-speed and 17" rims...
