Default CHALL/CUDA TRANS SWAP

I have a 73' challenger 360 with a 904 automatic trans. A friend of mine has a 73' barracuda with a 318 and manual trans. I want his trans and he wants mine! Besides the trans hump, what outher issues should I worry about, or should I know before attempting this swap?

You'll need to swap the pedal assemblies, all the clutch and transmission linkages and hardware, and the carb linkages as well as the trans hump. Probably the driveshafts of both cars will have to be changed as well- I don't think they can be swapped, as the wheelbases are different between the two cars.

All e-bodies have the same type of floor pans however, the 3 and 4 speed types have a wider tunnel. This was actually accomplished at the factory by cutting the tunnel for the automatic trans and welding a boxier and larger one in. You can purchase these on the aftermarket from Jim's Auto Parts, YearOne etc.
