Sounds like the crate 360 is going to end up being your best option then, unless fate smiles kindly at you, and drops the right engine in your lap.... (figuratively speaking. )

Not knowing where you live, I can't say, but the guy who bought my old Chrysler would like to sell it back for what he paid for it years ago. It has a 400 that was bored out to 406. That's the car I nearly lost my license in back in '93. I was slowing down when the Illinois State Police ticketed me for 124 in a 55. I was doing a high speed test run and was slowing down. By stop watch we think I was doing 134 or so at full throttle in a 5200 pound car.
