Default Can this Super Bee be found?

I trying to find the VIN # for this 69 super bee. I bought it new from Cheyenne Dodge in Cheyenne, WY. I was in the first owner and in Air Force at the time. Upon returning to WI., I then traded it in to Lou Bochrodt Chevrolet in Rockford, IL. It had a 383 with 4 barrel and manual transmission on the floor. It did not have any air scoops on the hood. Paint was green with gold flecks.(including the top). It was neat car but then I wanted a Corvette. I have called Cheyenne Dodge and the DMV in WY. No records going back that far. Called the DMV here in WI and they say the same thing although I have since found out that there is some paper or microfilm files in the basement of one of the offices in Madison(wouldn’t tell me that on the phone). Called Lou Bachrodt and they destroy their paper records after 7 years just like the others. The bookkeeper ran my name but nothing came up. Does the Chrysler Corporation keep any records on the production of these vehicles dating back that far? Some master registry someplace. This information is for my memorabilia scrape books and I just wonder where this car ended up? Can anyone offer any help in my search? Thanks.....

Jeff~

I do not know of a way to find out the VIN for this car, but you can call 1-800-992-1997. This is Chrysler customer service. They can tell you if there is a master list. My title clerk said that if she had the VIN she could trace the owners history, as long as it had always been titled. That looks identical to a Super Bee that we had a few months back. I redid the stripe on the trunk.
Wonder if it was yours? I might still be able to see who bought ours. BTW we have a street rod business also....

I don't think this is the same car. See attached. I will try the number you listed. What do I have to lose. Looking for any contact I that might help.

Thanks

Jeff~

Other suggestion I would have is to track down your old insurance company or agent. They may still have records which contain the VIN#.

Secondly, as for the car itself, may be worth running a small ad in Mopar Collector Guide Magazine to see if it hits a chord with anyone? You never know who may "know a guy that had one" in the same area...worth a shot...

I tried this with my old ins co. and they said they only keep records back to the 90's. I'd like to find my first GTX, a 68 440 4spd car I had in Colorado in the mid 70's. Anyone have any other suggetions?? Any help mucho appreciated!

My first car was a 70 b5 blue Superbee.I memorized the vin# the day I bought it.I still remember it.Does anyone know of a database that might tell me if this car is still around? I would LOVE to have it back. I know I have a better chance of winning the lottery (twice) but I`d still like to know.
