69 roadrunner quaters
Repros of the '69 quarters are available, but they don't go all the way to the roofline, if my memory serves me correctly. They only go up to the top edge of the vertical surface. To find originals will be pricey without shipping. Best bet would be to contact somebody like Desert Valley Auto or Stephens Performance and get a good used set.
ya they do and it only goes to the edge, thats y we dont want them and pluss its not half the material originals are, price of the part isnt bad, $600 for a hole back clip, jsut gettin it shipped
getting anything shipped into canada is pricey, we use a local transportation company to pick up our parts, but it,s still costly, the last car i got i went to Michagan myself and trailered it back, still very costly,,,
I know this is an old post but maybe this will help someone with the same problem. Most of the current repoped 1/4 panels for the roadrunner/satellite/gtx/belevedre cars do not cover up to the roof line. They only exted with in 1 inch from the top and a few actually go two inches over the crease. the factory, the orginal panels, only went half way up. You can see were the they used body filler to fill in the gap between the 1/4 panel and the roof top pieces. But the orignal 1/4 panels went from the door jam all the way back to the rear and went from the bottom up to and including the trunk area. they also joined the rear window filler panel, the part between the rear window and trunk, together. you can see the crease were they joined. Sadly all the current 1/4 panels for the 68-70 cars are not repoped from the factory mold this is complete BS. And most are repoped in China! Which goes for you get what you pay for. And installing these are a major job! how the panel looks makes the car. You can check ebaymotors and from time to time someone will have one or a set of NOS panels up for sale. The picture at the top is the factory replacement quarter panel...Hard to find!..The second pic is what you get when you buy from yearone or sherman or the paddock. Wich sadly most are repoped in China!
