Got the Road Runner out this weekend for a ride.Just feels good to raise a little hell.Only the gas prices are killing me[8D]

GTXpooch.... that is one sweet ride! Back in the day, I had a '69 GTX convertible... black 4-speed car. That's the one I'm probably the sorriest I ever parted with...

Amen to that I just got my Road Runner out last Thursday! Drove it around all weekend and now I'm waiting for this Saturday to take it out again!
Gas is gong to be a killer this year, I'm hoping they lower prices the weekend of Carlisle 07!

It's sooo bad I just bought a 87 Toyota Corolla for $250 bucks because the guy claims that it still get 33MPG!!
Now for me to buy anything other than Dodge you know it must be bad

I hope to get mine out this coming weekend, but I will need to get a little gas for it since I don't know how much is in it and it's $5.80 a gallon for the 110 octane[:@].

 

No.... will be in pieces by then. Am in process of pulling the drivetrain out now for a full rebuild; body, paint, interior, chrome to follow.... probably be a few more years yet!
