Hello Summer!!!
I finally got mine out and measured it for the garage and it's a tight fit, but a fit none the less. Now I need to secure the garage and replace that header gasket that's leaking and making it sound shi**y. If and when I ever get out of my financial pit, I'll start getting stuff for my Roadrunner to make it perfect.
I took mine out tonight to the first local cruise in.Every time I think about returning my car to stock
I see another that changes my mind.I met a guy that just put a Indy motor in his pro street Cuda.
605 C.I. all aluminum Hemi that Just makes shy of 900 H.P.Now that kicks *** and I want one too.
Cool cruise though.I did a couple good burnoutsin front of the place,And didnt break anything, thats always a good night.

I have the same problem. The current issue of Mopar Action has an article on a Ray Barton Hemi that is pushing 1,520 streetable horsepower @ 7,800 RPM without nitrous and over 1,000 lbs/ft torque from 4,000 RPM to almost redline. It idles at 900 RPM and runs on 93 octane unleaded pump gas, all while weighing in at approximately 50-75 pounds less than a dead stock street Hemi. I want it sooooooooooo very much that I would buy another '71 RR hood to cut the hole in to allow the blower plenty of room to tower out from and above it. Thankfully they don't mention the cost, because I know that it would hurt just seeing it let alone paying it.
I also had some fun when I had my Roadrunner out last weekend. First was just driving it. When my dad and I left the cruise-in some tard in his trash sounding mid-80's Camaro Z28 tried to show off when he passed me, but it was sooo slow that it was embarassing and caused me to laugh out loud. Usually I would put him in his place, but I was too busy laughing and he already made himself look stupid enough. Later on the freeway my dad blew the carbon out of his '69 Charger and I did the same staying right with him, he may have a little more power but I've got the better gearing for higher speeds and better aerodynamics.
