FRONTEND SWAP?
What is involved? Replacing the entire nose consisting of the hood, fenders, mounting brackets, panel between the hood and bumper, valance panel below the bumper, marker and turn signal lights and bumper and grill. I absolutely love my '71 Roadrunner and the unique and bandit like shape to the bumper and grill is one of my favorite features of it. The problem with what your wanting to do is many, it's trying to use non-matching and harder to find parts to apply to a car that it doesn't belong on thus making it harder for those that need them to get them. It also just not right, much like putting a Roadrunner Beep-Beep horn on a new Ram. If you were going to use interior parts it would be fine since they are the same. Doing the swap you want would actually be fairly hideous since the exterior styling between them is sooooo completely different, it would look very bad, but if the bumper and grill were a straight swap it would look pretty decent.
As TeeWJay426 said if you want the Roadrunner's look then sell the Charger and get either a '71 or '72 Roadrunner or Satellite Sebring. Since the interiors are the same and the general size is as well you won't notice much if any difference at all, so just get what you really want.
