Default wiring problem?????

Hey guys I have a problem with the taillights on my 'runner...the right brake lights work but the right ones dont,but when I have my lights on all of the lights work. The bulbs are all good so im guessing a wiring problem???

Im assuming you mean the left ones.........Check your grounds first.

I have taillight bugs with mine that need sorting out still. They tend to get moisture in them and the sockets are corroded, I've had to clean them out and I believe mine has a short somewhere since the amps drop when I hit the brakes and it never did that before.

My 71 had this problem years ago like 71 said water casued corrorsion cracked lens for years [:'(][:'(]
I fixed them years ago by buffing off the back side of socketand soldering a wire that can be tied to grounds via bummper bolts. Or as I did second time ran them all together then ran them inside trunk to the side marker lights ground.

As time goes by these sockets loosen up and loose the ground via housing bolts.

yea wiring in old cars are alot of trouble, but are worth every bit of trouble.
