Default Need Charger Opinion

What are your opinions on the collectibilty/future values of 75 to 79 Chargers and Magnums.I have my eye on a nice original 75 360 4bbl Charger. Do you think this generation may start to appreciate in 5 to 10 years? Thanks

Sorry, but it's not likely. Car value is usually based on popularity and desireability. Most every valued car is a high performance model or luxuary or mix of both. Even certain cars that were considered high performance in their year or years will never be worth much because they were not much of a performance car when compared to far more powerful earlier or later cars or simply because they were neverpopularand still aren't. The only cars through those years that stand any chance are the Trans Ams, Z28, Corvette and perhaps the Aspen R/T and the '78 Super Coupes and Kit cars.

Personally, I don't think so. It is too much of a Chrysler Cordoba look alike. Not sporty or "charger" like after 74.

Should be a nice driver if you can buy it right. Depends on what you're after.... gotta agree with the concensus here, if it's an 'investment' vehicle you're after, keep looking, this one probably won't appreciate much. If it's just an older fun driver, and can be bought cheap enough, get it and drive the wheels off it!
