Myself, I've never really been a fan of clones. What you have is great as it is and it should stand up for the Sports that are out there.

i think as long as you done clone the body and keep a stocky 318 in there...
even my 73 challenger has a 318 but ud be suprised ive made 13 sec passes with it.

u flip u rear springs to raise the rear.....
Not unless you have a death wish. Changing the suspension height is the worst thing you can do for handeling.

I HIGHLY agree with unclemike! Flipping the springs is a vary bad idea. Springs are arched when they are made to produce a certain amount of give and lift for the given application. They also have a bias and after being used for a number of years, I am sure the metal has fatigued in certain stress areas. Flipping the springs does not relieve the stress, however it can cause failure. Raising the car will also raise your center of gravity and on these older cars...the center of gravity was already too high for any kind of "modern" handling characteristics. Unless you are trying to clear wide tires (an even this should be met with stiffening the springs), I have to wonder why you would want to lift the car.

well i said that but its not really what i meant....the guy before me flipped em out and switched them.....i didnt mean turn them upside down.....but i do have a death wish........and its only on the rear.....it is for larger tires too...and i dunno why you would want to raise the car unless ur gettin some big 22inch rims
