Hello folks...
I'm sure my lack of energy in forum surfing will cause this question to possibly be a redundant one, but for the SRT8's has anyone installed either a Supercharger or a Turbo, and if so what types of gains are you getting?
Also is there any links in regards to either of these upgrades and how much would a fella expect to pay to get either done?
I have 22's on my SRT8 and I am getting quite dissapointed that I'm having some Mustangs and SRT4's run me off the line....kinda humiliating but I even had a supercharged COBALT keep up with me on the highway

I love my car but I am starting to be a little disappointed with the hype of HP and the actual performance vs. other cars!
Any suggestions?

There's no way you should be having trouble against these guys (particularly the Cobalt) unless they're dropping a fair bit of change into their machines. The only Mustangs I've ever had trouble with are the Cobras or the guys who drop $5000 or more into their GTs. An SRT-8 should be able to do battle with C5 Corvettes on a daily basis without much trouble.

have you checked out the s/c from gsmotorsports, I am droping one like that in my hemi ram. the kit looks awesome

As of right now you cannot safely supercharge our engines because there are no tuners on the market to prevent the lean condition caused by running the setup. Some have had good experience with a stand alone fuel management system however. All the rest... BOOM!! To the tune of tens of thousands of dollars. Soon Diablosport will be releasing a full tuner (not a limited parameter adjustment like the B&G flash) and then we may be able to adjust fuel tables and safely run these superchargers that are currently grenading our motors.
