Beefed-Up American Muscle...
Amanda, You can continue to call a Canadian car with a Mexican motor built and sold by Germans whatever you want. It is obvious you do not keep truth from telling your stories, but following your "logic" about the nameplate making it American, would you also then say the Chrysler SRT-6 is American? Is the Chev Equinox which is made in Canada at a Japanese plant with a Japanese transmission and Chinese engine American because it says Chev on it? The Aveo is totally Korean but has a Chev nameplate on it, so.... Speaking of Koreans, they understand what it means to butter your own bread. 97% of the vehicles in South Korea are Korean-made. Do you think that is because they think them superior to everything else? The other 3% get rocks thrown at them. They look out for their countrymen. I am not pushing my views on anyone. I am right about this and you are not. Not opinion. Fact! UnAmerican is not American. Goddardzilla, You are absolutely correct that I have a narrow view. To old-fashioned me, something needs to be American to be American. Yep, narrow! Focus on wonderful and powerful and beautiful for the Magnum, not what it is not.
uhh does it have a badge from an american country?then yes its american get over it your not gonna change anyones minds here

The truth is that Chrysler or DCM or DCX or whatever it is now, is no more an American car company than Honda or Toyota. They build and sell cars here and send the net profits to another country. I owned a 1978 Magnum, it was not the performer of the current car, but it was American!
Danko - So you are telling me my opinion is wrong? That's some slanted thinking on your part. It's MY OPINION... and I couldn't care less what you think about it. So thanks for your insults... but mind you... I don't care if you agree with me or not.

I know what you are saying Randy W... I do... but Danko is telling me my opinion is wrong... that's what I'm arguing, not the origin of the Magnum. No matter what ANYONE says... the Magnum has an American brand badge on it.
Danko... you don't even own a Dodge product do you?
~Amanda

don't get me started on unions again. I'm in the mood to write a big response to any pro union bastards, so don't push me.
as for the magnum, it is a true American car. the Chrysler group is based in auburn hills, screw DCX. auburn hills is in Michigan which is American. so the money is coming back to real American workers in executive chairs in auburn hills. that is all that matter. screw unions and the brainwashed who thinks unions help.
