Charger SRT-8 That thing got a Hemi? Indeed, a 6.1L Hemi that is. The Dodge Charger SRT-8 pounds the pavement with severe power.

KK, is your center stack, brushed aluminum or is the "carbon fiber" looking one that I saw at the Chicago Autoshow....not real carbon an aluminum carbon look witht he checkers.

ALso just curious what your conservative MPG is around town or on highway trips.

It's the brushed aluminum and if MPG is even a consideration for you, I think you will be happier elsewhere. I haven't gone through my first tank yet but milage is, definately, not a consideration for me.

But then again. That's just me!

I'm just curious. I know I'll hit 60 in 5.1

I know I'll do a 1/4 in 13

Persoanlly I have no interest in getting from one red light to the next before the guy next to me. I;d rather have a sweetride, know what it can do and prove if I need to, otherwise drive conservativly and get the best MPG I can.

That's just me

Or you can have both. I said I have not gone through my first tank yet, so I cannot give you a "real-time" answer about MPG. I've driven it for a day-and-a-half now. Yes, I have had my foot in it a lot within the break-in limitations. Looks like maybe 11-12 MPG but I really don't care. My last vehicle got 9 -10 MPG, regardless of how I drove it. This is a step up in that regard but not why I bought the car.

There are lots of "sweet rides" out there, like the RT, that will give you the best of both worlds. The SRT8 was, as far as eveything I have ever read or heard, promoted as a 5.7 on steroids. The 5.7 was promoted as "muscle and milage". Never heard milage mentioned in the same breath with the SRT vehicles. Sounds to me like your an RT buyer.

IMHO.
