I really think anyone who pays even 5K over is not really trying. It's mostly folks who cant think past their local area and are not willing to travel a little. Even at todays gas prices, you coulf fly to the opposite coast and drive home for under 2K. Or just have the car trailered back to you for that or less.

I know Woodhouse Dodge in Nebraska has already said they will sell every SRT Charger they get for sticker. And being the #1 Viper dealer in the country, they are very familiar with both out of state customers flying in and shipping cars out.

If I had issues getting mine for sticker, I would fly from MD in a heartbeat.

Just ordered mine. UNDER sticker. Gas Guzz tax was 2100 that hurt a little but still managed to get the final price a few k's below sticker FYI I went with black. I'm getting the VON on Monday can anyone tell me how long it will be to get the VIN? It's a pretty big dealership they sell about 2 vipers a month. Mind you I know it would be just an approximation. 4-5 months till its delivered i heard

Nowadays with gas prices at an all time high, and the gas guzzler tax on top of that, I cannot justify paying an additional markup such as 10k!!!! 5k?? maybe, I know dealers have to eat and make a living like the rest of us, but 10k is going over the edge for me!! That'll take this SRT8 into the 50's range and for that price, I'll look at other exotic cars within this price range. Heck, might as well settle for the SRT10 Viper Truck.

Got mine at MSRP and since found a dealer willing to go $500 off sticker. Wait another year and the price will be invoice plus. I think the price of gas going forward may be a factor.
