Default Dodge Magnum SRT8 500 package

I am not sure that you guys know this but the Dodge Magnum SRT8 has an SRT500 Package that is done by a company in Houston, TX called Hennessy Performance. They also do all the performance work on the Dodge Vipers and other sports cars. They have the only Vipers that are 1000hp and they only work on dodge products. My Magnum went into the shop with 425hp and came out with 560hp. They picked up the car from my home by transport trucking company and brought it to there shop in Tx. Then within 3 weeks, it was on its way back and was hot. It was lowered 2in and given racing supension, engine was totally reworked.

THis is the way to go if you buy a dodge product, I am going to get a SRT10 truck and get it hot on the road also.

www.hennesseyperformance.com

Look under Charger SRT-8...they have all the info you need.

How much did you pay for the package Limpetshark?

Do you know if they'll do Canadian cars?

If you go to the hennessey performance website, you will get a better idea of what they do. I got the srt8 500 package and that includes cool air package, larger cam, supension work, 3 inch pipes, performance racing cat, lowered 3 inches.

the cost is about 18,000 but believe me, it is work it. I also got there viper rims to put on my Magnum srt8 also. Now these costed a good penny but you can look on the website.

yes, they will do any car for a price, when I was there watching them put miles on my car to make sure that all the changes worked, they where making some SRT10 truck for some guy in one of the eastern sand countries. Saudi I think. It was hot and was pushing some where around 800hp. So if you want it, they will build it for you.

Wow! That sounds badass! Have you taken your SRT500 for a run down the dragstrip yet? How much more acceleration would you say it has over stock?

I would love the idea of a SRT500 but doesn't the prices seem alittle over inflated?
9K for exhaust, CAI, ported heads and push rods..oh and ported exhuast manifolds, not even headers
where is the 9K going?

I am a Viper owner that has a Charger SRT-8 on order. Before you use Hennessey please read the post on the Viper forum below. I'm choosing my words carefully here because I have been threatened by John Hennessey in the past when I offered to host a video made by a customer like that mentioned in post on the Viper club forum. I believe even the name Hennessey was banned from the Viper forum in the past. That may have changed but I think it would be good to be careful. Glad it worked out for you Limpet.
