Hello Fellow Dodge Fans,

I just placed my order for a Silver SRT8 Magnum. If all goes well I will have it by the end of the week....

I have had many sports cars over the years (all makes) and the excitement of owning this car brings back memories of being 16 and ordering my first car.

I will post purchase and delivery details for those interested as the deal is finalised.

I am looking for details on possible rim and tire sizes that work with the Brembo's... Would like to have these installed prior to delivery for winter conditions are still possible for several months.

well congratulations on the purchase. i think silver is my favorite color for the srt8s. i hope you enjoy it, and good luck with the wheels and tires for winter. i wish i could give you some advice, but i don't know alot about wheels and rims.

see that below where you post. well simply click to upload and find your picture on your computer. just be careful that the file isn't to big. i think you got a max of 500kb per post. so if u get then down to a little under 100kb each you can fit up to 5 there. or you can have less bigger ones.

Congratulations. Please post details when you close. I am getting the bug for one of these cars. I just purchased an 03 cobra and am thinking of going to an srt8 charger. I rode shotgun when one of my work colleagues test drove a charger r/t I was inpressed. How much of a step up is the srt8 in terms of performance?

A step up of 85HP, and a few exterior changes and Brembo brakes. But if I were you I would stick with the cobra. For 2k you can have them running low 12's in the 1/4mile.

Ummm, wrong.

It is a lot more than just that. If it were only that I would not have upgraded from the R/T to the SRT8.

It is much more accurate to say that the R/T's and SRT8's are two totally different cars with a couple of styling similarities.

Completely different motor that is capable of MUCH more power

Brembo brakes

Completely tuned suspension

Modified ESP program that is less intrusive and tuned for performance driving. Also has the ability to be turned off

20" wheels/better tires

More free flowing exhaust (nice sound at WOT)

Different transmission that reacts better for instant performance, also has different auto-stick characteristics

Different rear end gearing for better performance

Different front end styling, also has brake cooling vents

Different rear end styling
