srt8 magnum or srt8 charger! Debating which one I should go for ! Want the fastest one .

 

The Charger is.....the Magnum is the slowest of the 3 SRT-8 LX body cars...

 

Thanks I want the fastest cause I have stangs my husbands young brothers have 04 and a custom 68 both 400 hp rides and want to smoke them both and a srt8 can do just that.

 

If you are going to race a 400HP stang you are going to lose pretty bad. You are about 600-700pounds heavier then the stangs.

 

I read in road and track that the srt8 are all stang killers. Anyway I might get a gnx I found one that has twin turbo kit in it and its a 1000 hp ride .

 

It's all about the weight, the Magnum is the slowest because it is the heaviest. But it is the biggest head-turner. Chargers are popping up everywhere.

Stock for stock yes they are untill the GT500 is released. BUt I was talking what would happen if he raced a 400HP mustang.

 

Im a gal not a he and I dont plan on losing to some stangs so Iam now planning on gettin a 87 gnx that can smoke anything out there I hear from srt forums and drag mags. Planning on gettin either a 800 hp or 1000 hp grandnational x. My brotherinlaws 1 has a 2004 gt stock and the other has a custom built 67 stang .

 

Seems the charger SRT-8 is more of Demand... This is good since im like the only magnum srt-8 owner in OC... I still love the look on peoples face when i put there BMW to shame with my Grocery Getter!
