Charger SRT-8 That thing got a Hemi? Indeed, a 6.1L Hemi that is. The Dodge Charger SRT-8 pounds the pavement with severe power.

I experienced the same hestitation when the car was brand new. It dissapeared when I hit about 1500 miles. I also added a K&N CAI, but I don't know if that had anything to do with it. I still have the rev-limiter shifting problem though.

Hey Bandit, first of all thanks for all the work you have done for all of us. I posted late on this subject, but I still have the shift issue. I checked the TSB's on the attached website, and it gives a release date of December 2006 for the new software. Does that sound right?

Thanks again, Joe

This problem is not limited to the SRT's. I have an 06 awd magnum with CAI and superchip. It does the same thing only not as severe. It sounds like I am letting off the throttle and manualy shifting by the rev limiter shutting off the motor @5800rpm. and then it will take off again. And it does it in d or slapshift. I haven't tried it with esp off, but will tomorrow. I am interested in what dodge has to say about this.
