Default 2007 SRT8?

Any info out on the new SRT8? I'm buying soon...either an R/T or SRT8. I'd love to hear the new goodies for 07. Colors? Pics? Anything!

I think the 07 SRT-8's are supposed to have the MDS system.

I highly doubt that the MDS system will be available in the SRT-8s for '07. The 6.1L utilizes a "bumpier" cam profile- shutting off half the cylinders would lead to an unnacceptable amount of engine quiver. As well, replacing the 6.1L's high performance valve gear with the more fragile setup on the MDS system would countermand the high-performance nature of the SRT's. In essence, adapting the SRT-8s to utilize MDS would be a downgrade to the car instead of an upgrade (according to the target market).

They should just have the mds for the SRT-8's as a option or something but give a warning that the car won't be as fast as the other srt-8's but will get better gas mileage.

*shrugs*

Might as well just get the R/T and buy the performance add-ons from Mopar.

TorRed replaces inferno red. There will bee a Super Bee edition in "detonator yellow" I'm sure you all have seen the pictures of it. Other than that...no other changes.

I have heard that the '07 SRT-8s will be getting vented rotors to help counteract the squeaky brake issues.
