Hello Gentlemen. I'm new here, and I have an 06 Magnum SRT8 which I need to come up with a snow tire solution for. I was very much hoping to find a way to run Blizzaks, however it looks like 18" is about as big as I can go with any of those tires. Has anyone out there successfully gotten 18" wheels to work on one of these cars? How about 19" - any problems with that?

I would also be interested in any winter tire experiences any of you might have had with the SRT8's as well.

Well the RTs run 18s and there seems to be no trouble just remember to put on the correct rubber size so u dont put your speedo way out of whack!

 

or if you go with different rubber take it to a speedo shop and have them recalibrate it.

 

how about the wheels though, Im not sure if the RT's have the same kind of disks and calipers. The SRT 20's that come with the wheel, have like less than a half an inch of space between the caliper and the rim spokes. My father also really needs a pair of winter tires. Its for a charger, but an SRT8 is an SRT8.

Hes really interested in the steel wheel police package, any idea if those 18's will fit the srt8? The brakes are all im worried about

 

Several 18" wheel will fit the srt. ASA's and MB's and BSA to name a few. My tire guy checked the rim for clearance before I decided. Its the front Brembo's that are the concern. I chose the Blizzaks...let it snow!!!!
