Charger SRT-8 That thing got a Hemi? Indeed, a 6.1L Hemi that is. The Dodge Charger SRT-8 pounds the pavement with severe power.

Default SRT 8 Mods

Hey this is for all you Charger SRT 8 owners. From my personal experience the mods i've done to my Charger have significantly improved the power and overall handling. Here's the list of what's done.
1. Suspension: KW 2 Variant coil overs. Absolutely amazing since you can adjust the ride height and rebound to suit your driving needs as opposed to just springs.
2. Suspension: Hotchkis anti sway bars. again these bars firmed up the car in the corners amazingly.
3: Intake: K&N air filter with air scoop & throttle body spacer. Great sound and added a punch to the acceleration.
4: Exhaust: Magnaflow cats and cat back system. Yes there is a high resonance when your cruising at about 45 mph but who cares it's a race car anway.
5: Electrical: Jet 2 chip. This really threw the car over the top. It redlines at 6500 and keeps pulling and pulling.
6: Wheels: rear 11.5x22, front 10.5x22 Giovanna GFG Nice 5's on Pirelli P Zero Nero.
7: Last but not least 8K HID's top and bottom to give the car a nicer appeal in the evenings.

I'm certainly not an idiot. Have been building high performance cars for 35 years. Part of that time for pay, now just for fun. I am using a 100 shot but am using fuel additive and 180 degree thermostat to keep the engine from exceeding the 215 level, new computer module and Magnaflow exhaust.

Well I just wouldn't spray that extra 100HP too much the Hemi's are not built that strong for stuff like nitrous and other ways of forced induction.

By the way just added vented/slotted discs all around which this car should have come that way from factory given they come with Brembo calipers.

If you can't tune your car on a dyno then the mods are a waste of money. Give your before and after dyno numbers. This is my second Dodge and it's painfully evident that without being able to tune thiese cars it isn't worth doing more than an air filter. LOL. I want to be able to connect a lap top to my car and make changes.
