Default 360 motor for 64 dart gt convertable?

The 64 dart gt convertable i'm rebuilding came with a new 360 motor as part of the deal. It was just thrown in bolted to the stock automatic tranny and rear end. The motor is also hitting the steering box(wrong motor mounts?). I took the motor out for the new paint job and i'm looking for any information reguarding the fitting of the 360 motor in the car? Will it work and where can I find the parts I need to make it work? Or should I look for another engine.

It will work, maybe you have the wrong mounts.
Worst case you may have to fab some mounts.

I am new to this forum and saw this problem of trying to put a 360 in a 64 Dart. It seems the date was 2009 so this may be mute, but I just did it with mine . the driver side exhaust must dump at rear if not get a 98to 03 Durango exhaust and then put a 1/2 " shim under the driver side motor mount. This will then clear the steering box. this will work only with manual steering. Also check your fan clearance at the radiator. I had to grind the tips of the blades off a bit. Stan
