Default newbie questions

Hey, I have a couple questions. I am looking at buying a 1970 Dodge Dart with 318 auto and I was wondering what are the common rust spots on the Darts? Also, what other common problems did the Dart have? Thanks

the most imporant thing is to check which rear axle is in the car. some darts have the 7 1/4 rear end it IS JUNK, if you have one swap it for a 8 1/4 rear end.

I am the new kid on the block. I clearly don't know what I'm doing here yet. I have an 02 Stratus that the temp gauge will read when not plugged into the CTS , but will not read when plugged into the second new CTS. Help please!

Jimododge, check out the Stratus section.

Look for rust in the lower quarter panels and along the back window in the trunk. My 1971 Demon (Dart) 340 had rust behind the rear bumper and inside the trunk that was very minor since it was a California car.
