72 Demon Restoration Help
Hey all, I'm pretty new here and I was hoping I could get some help. I recently rescued a complete 72 Auto 340 Demon from going to the junk yard. The car is complete and all factory but needs help. I've never built a mopar before, but I couldn't let the old girl get crushed. The basics on the car are: All stock 340 auto 727 trans 8.75 rear. A/C, P/S, P/B, White interiors with Bucket seats. Solid Floors, Trunk, & rockers. Mint Factory spare, Jack, and Manual all new. Due to the completeness of the car I want to do it right. Thanks in advance.
1. Are the fenders and doors the same as the Dusters? If so what years?
2. If I have to go aftermarket can someone recommend the best company for panels, I'm thinking year one at this point.
3. Can anyone recommend a good place for fuel and brake lines?
4. Is there anything that is going to throw me a curve on these cars that I can get a heads up on?

Hey, welcome, I can answer most of your demon questions.
1. the fenders are not the same, you can use duster fenders if you choose to use the entire duster nose (grille and bumper and hood. Otherwise you are limited to demon and Dart for 1972 only ( 71 Dart and Demon will fit just fine, but the markers are different0.
2.For replacement panels, I recommend Autobody Specialties, they are in Ct.
3. Try Fine Lines, I don't have any contact info on them.
4. the only thing that might throw you a curve would be the Kelsey-Hayes 4 piston disc brakes (if you have them).
5. Lets see some pics!

Thanks for the info, I want to keep the car as stock as possible. I want to get this car back to road worthy and into paint by the summer. I want to be able to drive it as i'm acquiring the parts for a complete resto down the line. I have a few pics from when the car was dropped off. I'll add more later.
