Like I said I just use the stuff they have in the carwashes for wax . My ride looks shiner than most of yours . There is too paint that shines more than others . You just have to look around. Whatever mine looks shiney enough shes does awesome in shows if she didnt look shiney than I wouldnt be getting the compliments at my shows and around town.

The stuff put on at carwashes isn't real wax, although it has the same effect it lasts not even a week. If you are talking directly to me about your car being shinier than most my cars, for the most part thats true because you have newer paint. You have my neon and my sis's altima beat there but our newer cars that get a good coat of wax every month, no wayyou neon isshinier.
The longer you go between waxing the more it ruins your paint. If you keep your car outside, the sun is constantly fading your car especially since its black, but if you put some wax on it you are preventing some of the fading because of the extra clearcoat

Has anybody ever tried Armor All Triple Action Wheel Cleaner? I bought it yesterday and just got done using it. Wow! It works great. Then I finished the wheels off with some Armor All Tire Gel. Another great product from Armor All. I also bought the Meguiars Scratch X. It works good for those lite swirls. I also bought the Black Magic Detailing Brushes. It has a Vent brush, a Detailing brush, and a Finishing brush. I'll be starting a review thread on all the detailing products that I used or tried.

I've always wanted to claybar my car but the thought of paying $17.99 for the kit and then having it get dirty a few days later is...[&:]
The clay bar is intended to remove embedded contaminates in the paint such as rail dust, tree sap, etc. It will make the paint feel a lot smoother but you still have to clean the paint to remove oxidation, water spots, etc using a dedicated pre-wax cleaner or a good cleaner wax.

The secret to getting the shine back is more about getting the paint surface as clean as possible before applying the wax. The wax will amplify it but not fix a poor paint surface.

Agreed. The Scratch X says it only removes lite scratches. It made some of the deeper scratches better for me. I tried it on one swirl that I saw and it was gone. I was still thinking about trying the BM Titanium but I thought since Im happy with the AA Extreme gel then Ill keep using that. I got tired of searching for a tire shine that would last longer than a day or a few hours.
