Default How do you remove body side molding?

I just removed the side molding on my 05 Magnum but i can't quite get it as clean as i would like. Their is still an outline of the molding left behind. I used fishing line to cut through the adhesive 1st than i used a 3m adhesive remover spray followed by Meguiers spray detailer and finaly a coat of Meguiers wax. But still have a ring where it used to be . Any suggestions on how to get that out??? Thanx

What you are seeing is the paint has faded around the moulding ... The color under the moulding is unfaded ...

IF its still some adhesive residue left on use some WD-40 or Goo Gone. Thats what I did to remove mines from my Neon.

Or an Eraser Wheel(At a Paint Shop) will also get any gunk off, fairly quickly.

Yup, a pinstripe eraser on a cordless drill is the only way to go. I've debadged friends trucks in half an hour with just some fishing line and a pinstripe eraser wheel...
