Default debadgeing issuse

i tried to debadge my truck the other day and i used adhesive remover the kind in a spray can. Well after several aplications there stil is resado from the badges on the truck. Its got me kinda mad now cause the black paint is scratched to hell now from scraping on it.How hard would it be to sand it off real lightly and repaint the small area?

Scraping the paint? Some Goof Off on a towel will have it off in seconds...

A small thin wire, such as a high E guitar string, will work on raised badges, letters or numbers next time you decide to remove them,

This. Get the adhesive warm with a hairdryer, then soak it in some Goo Gone/Goof Off. Have at it with a towel, but try not to drag whatever comes off across the paint. Whatever is leftover can normally be pulled out with a claybar. Then just use some light polish to get rid of the ghosting effect you'll most likely have depending on how long it's been there.

Yes, and then some Mineral Spirits with finish up the adhesive.
