Default For the love of dodge ram. Caution.

So I spent the afternoon detailing my 3rd gen ram 5.7 truck.
So when I detail my engine bay,. I pull my air intake off
Seal up the throttle body lay blue shop towels under fuel
Rail around the coil packs basically prevent any detailing
Chemicals from getting on the valve covers and so forth.
At some point I put a foot up on the radiator too reach
Back to the last coil pack in the back.
Well guess what I put a leak in my radiator. Now I have too buy
A new radiator. Prematurely. I won't be using BARSLEAK or any of that junk.

It is alot of prep work. But for me it's satisfying rewarding
And the results are a really nice clean looking engine bay.
But in my case I just plain forgot too protect my radiator
With a movers blanket over the top. Detailing is a good way
to spot potential problems that you mite otherwise over look.
Spotting these early will also keep you from sitting along
side the highway.

But I'm also the driver that will get out in a snow storm and wipe down
The painted steele wheels on a funky old freightliner on an overnight run
Through Pensylvania to New Jersey .
